WHY SHOULD I RENT A SHIPPING CONTAINER STORAGE UNIT WITH YOU?

All of our units are the newest 8' x 20' shipping containers available and utilize patented easy-open doors with high security lock boxes and 14 total factory installed vents to help balance moisture and heat inside of the unit. The units interiors have a full 7.5' wide x 19' long inside storage space. Steel shipping containers are the most secure, waterproof and rodent-proof storage units on the market today - and are literally made for the purpose of storing goods during transport. Our units have no dividers either - meaning your unit does not share walls with any other unit, and you use your own lock on your unit - all of which is what makes our units the most secure storage units on the Range.

Another benefit to our units is that all of our storage unit roofs are sloped away from the unit doors - meaning no more water pouring on you from the roof like most storage facilities when its raining and you're loading or unloading your storage unit. This also means that you don't have to deal with sheets of melting snow sliding off in front of your storage units door during those warm winter days into spring.

 

In addition to these features, to enter our facility you need to be a current renter with the secure access gate code. We also have multiple security cameras that monitor the entire facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are proudly locally owned and operated, too - so local, in fact, that we live only a few miles away from the facility. 

WHAT WILL FIT IN AN 8' x 20' SHIPPING CONTAINER STORAGE UNIT?

Our units are perfect to store household goods, furniture, lawn and garden equiptment, business inventory, and recreational vehicles such as Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs & much more. For the most efficient use of the space, consider adding one or more of our heavy duty shelving units to your unit. Up to 4 of our shelving units can be added to each storage unit. Visit our "Helpful Videos" page and watch the "Shelving Units" video (coming soon) to see just how much you can fit in a unit with shelving - its pretty amazing how much added utility and space shelving units gives you inside of the unit.

 

If you want to maximize your storage space, we highly recommend shelving units of some kind. If you would like to add our shelves to your unit, please note that you will need to contact us to purchase a shelving rental plan separately from the unit due to different terms, conditions, and damage deposits for the shelving units. While any length of rental plan can purchase shelving units from us, please note that we only offer shelving unit rentals to those with a Yearly Plan. 

WHAT IF I NEED MORE SPACE?

We understand that some households will need more space than what a standard unit offers, which is why we are happy to offer a 10% discount to anyone who wishes to rent more than one unit. That discount is good for your entire term with us and applies to all of the units you rent! Please let us know if you are interested in renting more than one unit, and we will send you a coupon code for 20% off your second unit rental (10% off the first and 10% off the second). Many people can get by with one storage unit and shelving, depending on what they are storing.

We offer shelving units for rent, too, and you can fit up to 4 of our custom built, heavy duty shelving units per container (yearly plans only). We build and install them right into your unit prior to your move in to make the moving and organization process as easy and convenient as possible!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? 

We are located at 5836 Highway 84, Chisholm, Minnesota 55719. Our lot is private with a scenic woodline surrounding our entire facility. We are conveniently located only 4 miles from the city center of Chisholm, 11 miles from either Side Lake and Buhl, and have both ATV and snowmobile trails only 1 mile up the road, making our facility an ideal location to store your ATVs and UTVs! Please note that access through our locked gate requires a current rental subscription and secure access code for the entrance gate. 

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS? 

All of our rentals utilize online, recurring payment plans to keep our expenses down and your payment information secure, which allows us to offer our units at such incredible prices. We do not accept any form of payment in person or by mail. Having an online account with us has many benefits - you can manage your account and payment methods online, change or cancel your subscription, view the current gate access code, snow removal status at the facility, contact us, and more.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

Our regular (Support Request) hours are 8 am - 8 pm, 365 days a year. We are usually available for meeting new occupants at the facility and for support requests during those hours, so if you need anything, please contact us - we do our best to respond within an hour or less.

 

Our extended (Facility Access) hours are 6 am - 10 pm, 365 days a year. We ask that whenever possible to please limit non-essential trips to your Storage Unit within our regular or extended hours.

 

In any emergency situation, your Storage Unit is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

 

Please note that we do not have an office or lobby on site, but you may see us on the red TYM tractor from time to time doing facility maintenance, don't be afraid to say hello if you see us or need anything

DO YOU OFFER A MILITARY DISCOUNT? 

Absolutely! We greatly appreciate our service members and are thrilled to be able to extend that appreciation with a 10% off coupon off of any of our plans. THANK YOU to all of our Active Service Members and Veterans. Please email us with any valid form of Military Service Verification and we will gladly send you a 10% off Coupon for your entire rental term with us, or apply the discount to your account if you have an active plan with us.

DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER WAYS TO SAVE ON A STORAGE UNIT?

We sure do! Even if your not in the Military, we offer other ways to save on the cost of your storage unit from our already low rates including our Referral Program that allows you to save up to 20% per rental term with us! We also run other occasional coupons, discounts, and promotions that are published either on our home page or social media pages. Additionally, all of our rental plans offer our FOREVER PRICE-LOCK GUARANTEE - meaning the price you pay when you sign up stays the same for as long as you keep your unit!

WHERE DOES THE SLOGAN "CLEAN - PRIVATE - SECURE" COME FROM?

Clean: Our units are brand new, and after every rental we personally inspect, disinfect, and clean the units as needed. Not only are our units clean, but the road to our facility is paved all of the way from Chisholm (and Side Lake) and our entire facility lot is covered with black rock - meaning no dust, dirt, or mud from gravel or dirt roads.

Private: Our facility is in a very private rural setting and is surrounded by a scenic woodline that screens our units from the road and adjacent properties. Our units are tucked in over 125' off of the road and our layout has no unit doors facing or visible from the road - giving you the utmost privacy.

Secure:  Our facility features a security gate that requires use of a passcode for entry onto the facility grounds and we have multiple cameras monitoring the facility 24/7/365. Our steel storage units are the most secure storage units available on the market with double steel doors, lockboxes, and no shared walls or dividers with any other unit. 

HOW DO I RENT A STORAGE UNIT?

When You are Ready, Renting a Storage Unit is a Simple 5 - Step Process:

1. Pick the Rental Plan & Checkout Online

Review our available plans under the "Plans & Pricing" tab above. Be sure to also check out the "Unit Details & Pictures" for more details and pictures of our units and facility. If you have any questions please check out the "Frequently Asked Questions" tab as well as the "Helpful Videos" tab. If you still have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

 

During checkout, you will be asked to provide (2) possible dates and times that would work best for you for your Storage Unit showing.

 

There is also a field that will allow you to enter what other accessories you would like (renting shelving, purchasing a lock or totes, or renting 2 or more units). We will confirm those by email and will invoice you separately for those items. Please allow an additional 3 days for us to build and install shelving into your unit (we only offer shelving rentals to Yearly Plan customers, but any customer can purchase shelving units from us). 

If you want to check the facility out first, please contact us and let us know a time and date that works for you or swing by the facility (please note that to enter past the driveway you will need to meet with us as the gate is locked at all times for security and the code is only provided to current occupants). 

2. Review the Rental Agreement in Your Online Account
Our rental agreement is available for review for any paid plan members after login under the "My Account" tab on our website.

3. We'll Follow Up to Confirm the Facility Showing
We'll do our best to accommodate your preferred meeting time/date and either confirm one of your time and date selections or give you alternative options from when we are available.


4. Meet us at the Facility
We'll give you a tour of the facility, let you pick from our available units, show you how to use the gate, gate lock, storage unit doors, and show you your unit to confirm its move-in condition. Once you like everything you see, all you need to do is sign the Rental Agreement and either purchase a lock or provide your own to start using your unit. 

5. Move In!
Be sure to either bring a lock or you can purchase one from us as well - in either case, you keep all of the keys to your Storage Unit!

Very Important - Please Note:

Please check your "SPAM" / "JUNK" folders after you rent a unit or contact us as our emails ending up in a spam or junk folder is a fairly common issue. If you find our email in your spam or junk folders, please mark us as "Trusted" or "Safe" senders to ensure you get important emails from us, including confirming your storage unit showing.
